September 2015-Memorabilia of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service

September 9th: Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare and other leaders visited Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) with an intention of negotiating cooperation. Being received warmly by the President Lin Ying and Secretary-General Gong Lihua from GIEA, the two parties actively communicated about cooperation in cultivating senior service talents on the basis of exerting their respective advantages, mutual benefit and reciprocity, and they finally reached the cooperation intention.

September 22nd: “Henan Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Zhengzhou Hotel. Many leaders attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches, including Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang from China Association of Social Welfare, Section Chief Li Benqian from Senior Citizen Work Office of Civil Affairs Department of Henan Province, Director-General Zhang Degui from Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Zhengzhou and President Guo Like from Harmonious Group of Shanghai. 388 trainees from Henan provincial senior service agencies participated in this training.

September 28th: China Association of Social Welfare held “The Symposium for Member Representatives from Senior Service Agencies” in Beijing, through which, it had informal discussions and communications on current urgent problems related to survival and development of senior service agencies with trainees who participated in the “2015 Distance Training (Special Program for Members) for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies”. Nearly 100 member representatives participated in the symposium, including presidents and chiefs of senior service agencies all over China. Feng Xiaoli, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Association of Social Welfare, earnestly listened to all participants’ opinions and had an on-site conversational communications with member representatives.

September 29th: “Special Program for Presidents of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Beijing Hexihui Apartment for the Aged. Feng Xiaoli, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Association of Social Welfare, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. 100 Presidents from senior service agencies of 14 provinces of China participated in this training.

September 29th: Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres under Ministry of Civil Affairs and China Association of Social Welfare jointly held “Warm Heart in Golden Autumn” —— The Theme Activity on Mental Health Knowledge Lecture for Retired Veteran Cadres of Ministry of Civil Affairs, to send culture, health and holiday blessings for Retired Veteran Cadres of Ministry of Civil Affairs. President Liu Guanghe of China Association of Social Welfare, Director-General Yu Wenjun from Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres under Ministry of Civil Affairs, Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare, Secretary Kong Jun and Deputy Director-General Jiang Hong from Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres under Ministry of Civil Affairs attended this activity; more than 80 representatives for retired veteran cadres of Ministry of Civil Affairs participated in this activity. Director-General Yu Wenjun and Vice President Feng Xiaoli gave a speech at this activity. President Liu Guanghe and related leaders gave all participants the Welfare China magazine of one-year term as presents, and research fellow Liu Songhuai from China Rehabilitation Research Center gave lecture on mental health knowledge to all participants. This activity was held in a simple form and rich contents, which won favorable comments from all participants.
